Who we are

Minor Adventures is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) founded in 2024 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We design and sell digital icon products.

Our products, and which terms apply

We sell icon sets including Amicons (amicons.design) and Smallbits (smallbits.design). Each product website publishes its own specific licence terms. These general terms govern use of this main website and apply to all our products unless stated otherwise.

Using this website

You may browse and download free resources from this site. The following are prohibited:

• Scraping or mirroring site content
• Using content for AI/ML training without permission
• Attempting unauthorized access to our systems
• Presenting our work as your own

What you are buying

When you purchase our icons, you receive a licence to use the icon files. You do not acquire ownership of the icons themselves—we retain all intellectual property rights.

What the licence allows

Our standard licence grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to:

• Use icons in unlimited personal and commercial projects
• Modify, recolor, and combine icons as needed
• Embed icons in products, apps, and client work

The number of seats (users) is determined by your pricing tier.

What the licence does not allow

• Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing raw icon files
• Bundling icons into competing products, libraries, fonts, or marketplaces
• Publishing icons in a public code repository
• Using icons for AI/ML training
• Trademarking icons or derivatives
• Any unlawful use

Free products

Free icon sets are provided under the same restrictions as paid products. The licence terms above apply equally.

Ordering and payment

Creem acts as our merchant of record, handling payment processing, VAT collection, and invoicing. Prices may change but existing purchases remain unaffected.

Delivery

Digital products are delivered immediately after purchase. You'll receive a download link and licence key via email.

Refunds and the right of withdrawal

Under EU/UK consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by consenting to immediate delivery of digital content, you waive this right once the download is provided. Your statutory rights for faulty products remain unaffected. Refunds are processed by Creem.

Updates to products

We provide free lifetime updates to all purchased icon sets. Updates are released at our discretion—we don't guarantee a fixed schedule. If a product is retired, existing licences remain valid.

Custom work

Bespoke icon commissions are handled under separate written agreements. These terms do not apply to custom work unless specified.

Disclaimer

Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Links to other sites

We may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam. If you are a consumer, this does not affect mandatory protections in your country of residence.
